Niwa is an established construction company in Karlstad with over ten years of experience. We primarily operate in Värmland but also throughout central Sweden. With around 30 employees and a clear growth ambition, we carry out everything from construction services to larger renovation and new construction projects, with strong references from both municipal and private property owners.

We are looking for carpenters to join Niwa Entreprenad AB!

About the position

Niwa Entreprenad is growing, and we need to strengthen our construction departments with more skilled carpenters. Ahead of spring, we require both carpenters focused on construction services and larger contracts, so please specify which focus you are interested in your application to facilitate the selection process. It is an advantage if you are open to travel for work with allowances if you are focused on larger contracts.

As a carpenter with us, you will have a free and varied job, where no day is the same. You will work both outdoors and indoors on various projects. You will be based in Karlstad and be an important part of our team – sometimes in a group, sometimes more independently. Main responsibilities

The tasks include building, assembling, and completing wooden constructions. Responsibilities include framework erection, wall, roof, and floor assembly, interior carpentry, and working from drawings and construction descriptions. The work requires precision, problem-solving skills, and good collaboration skills, as the carpenter often has a central role in the construction process.

Qualifications and experience

• Has a professional certificate and a B driver's license
• Is engaged, attentive, and communicative
• Has a sense of service and good foresight
• Enjoys both collaborating and working independently
• Likes to take initiative and lead the work forward
